About Hair Designer Jeff Davidson
Jeff always wanted to be an artist. After earning a fine arts degree from University of Arizona, Jeff moved to Hollywood California to begin a successful career as an assistant camera man working freelance in television and motion pictures.
Studying closely the art of hairdressing from behind the camera, Jeff knew he needed to make a change. He sought out a hairdressing mentor in David Abrams international platform artist for Sexy Hair Concepts and director of Education for Calrton Hair International.
Upon completion of his apprenticeship, Jeff began as a stylist at the exclusive Luxelab salon in Santa Monica, California. He went onto become director of education teaching and mentoring other stylists while working behind the chair.
As an avid student of culture and trend, Jeff is passionate about hair and continues his education to this day. He has completed advanced training at Vidal Sassoon , Goldwell, Toni & Guy, KMS, and Tom Brophy of Beverly Hills, and taken styling classes from famed stylist Orlando Pita.
Jeff has done hair for: Marcia Cross (Desperate Houeswives), Rachel Dratch (30 rock, SNL), Chandra West (90210), Laura Innes (ER), Joanna Pacitti (American Idol), Brad Wilks (Rage Against the Machine) and artist Charles Ray.
He is currently working at Tribe Hair Studio in NW Portland, Oregon.
